WHAT WE BELIEVE
• Life is sacred from the moment of conception until natural death. Voice of virtue is committed to defending the inherent dignity and God-given inalienable right to life of all human persons, each of whom is made in the image and likeness of God.
• The family is the core of a stable society. Voice of Virtue is committed to safeguarding and upholding the traditional family unit. Recognizing the chaos that results when this social cell, the "world in miniature" breaks down, Voice of Virtue strives to strengthen family values, attitudes, and behaviors that are essential to building a civilization of love and peace.
• Preventing teen pregnancy is as much about moral and religious values as it is about public health. Voice of Virtue is committed to the character formation of the young by helping them to grow in virtue, wisdom, and grace, thus empowering them to choose what is good, true, and holy. We believe that a focus on the "Forgotten Virtues" of chastity, modesty, and prudence will enhance their decision-making skills.
• Without the truth there can be no charity. Voice of Virtue believes that each Catholic is called and gifted to be a part of an international missionary enterprise for the salvation of the world. We are all called to bear witness to Christ in the power of authority of His Church, the mouthpiece of the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Mass and reception of the Body and Blood of Christ, we are empowered and equipped to live the virtuous life of which we speak. "Ite, missa est." ("Go, you are sent.")
• The grace of God enlightens minds and hearts. Voice of Virtue remains open and welcoming towards those who profess other religions. Without ceasing to practice our own faith with conviction, we are committed to pursuing dialogue with those who are non-Catholic, always mindful that to authentically dialogue with others, a clear witness of the Catholic Faith is indispensable. |
